Extremely pleased with the entire experience. From the minute you get there until you leave. Friendly front desk, amazing doctors along with their assistants, and the hygienist is very knowledgeable and friendly. The treatment coordinator is very specific and knowledgeable as well and the prices are reasonable given the area. This office is one to consider if you’re looking to have good work done and have a good experience through out even if you’re afraid of the dentist like me. Thank you ladies for everything.

What a pity that she cannot think of this place, the excellent X-ray girl, the rather arrogant manager as if she were paying for your treatments, the equally arrogant doctor, nothing patient and very unprofessional, she is upset if you tell her that a rubcanal does not need to be kissed, it does not take a minute and she gets up without saying one more rude, and that I am a nurse and I have too much patience, but with this type of people nothing humble and conceited, I am. It runs out .

Beware of this dentist! Took my mother in for a checkup, and they claimed she needed extensive dental work on her entire mouth. Something felt off, so we got a second opinion—and turns out, her teeth are fine! Worse, the root canal they performed led to an infection, causing unnecessary pain and stress. Extremely disappointed with their diagnosis and care. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any treatment here. Proceed with caution!

I have no insurance at this moment so they gave me a very favorable price, as well as an itemized list of the procedures necessary for me. Very welcoming atmosphere. The staff was understanding, kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Alvarez and Dr. Sagarduy were great and walked me through everything they were doing and made sure I was comfortable at all times. I am now retired and therefore my usual dentist do not take my insurance anymore. I searched for a dentist and finally went to Dental Group of South Florida at 16830 SW 88th Street. What a mistake that was. I was shuffled around to various xrays. Then sitting in the chair, a lady came to me. She did not introduce herself and proceeded to tell the tech in the room that I needed scaling and extractions on some teeth. I asked her what teeth need extractions and she said my molars. I told her that I was not taking out my molars. Then she said Well, when they start hurting you, then you can come back to take them out. Then she got up and left. I do not know who she was because there was no introduction. Another lady came, introduced herself and proceeded to tell me that she will not be doing a normal cleaning. It will not be deep cleaning - something in between. She proceeded to rub something on my teeth for the pain. She did not wait a few minutes for the gel to take effect and started the cleaning. It was so unprofessional and I had water all over my face. This was definitely not like my usual dentist that I had to give up because of my Medicare choice. Unprofessional, only spoke in Spanish (I do not speak Spanish) and definitely no manners. I will be looking for another dental group that take my Medicare insurance.was unprofessional and I had water all over my face.

No Complaints at all, they are very informative & all seem to be in a good mood always. Wait time is not long at all, which I appreciate. My husband & my daughter are also patients- the orthodontist appointments for my daughter are also conveniently on Saturdays.

High quality and professionalism from all the staff and doctors. They accommodated my appointment related to my schedule from the help of Melanie at the front desk. Glenda the manager gave me all the information about my insurance. The assistants Merlys and Rita knew how to help me during my treatment. My doctor Sagarduy was very professional in her procedure.

While the dentist and her staff are nice. Unfortunately the office manager is more focused on up selling or telling you misinformation about what your insurance will and will not pay for after they have done work on you.I contacted my insurance company only to find out the women outright lied to me.She informed me that because they did a deep cleaning on my teeth I would not ever be eligible for a normal cleaning that is the one covered by my insurance.She said I had to sign up for their 3 month program which was not covered by my insurance. That because I had a deep cleaning I was no longer eligible for the cleaning my insurance company covered.This is not the first time this has happened. But to be told that after the work was done.The office manager is also rude and condisendingIf you use this practice beware of their billing and scare tactics.Update to the response below.Notice nothing about the facts.Again the office manager LIED. This has nothing to do with my teeth being deep cleaned or the cost. I have reported this office to the organization that regulates dental offices in Florida. They are in the middle of an investigation. This practice will try and sell you on items you do not need done or tell you your insurance company will not pay for basic services to get you to purchase more expensive services you may not need. Also check what they bill your insurance company. I had issues with that as well.The office manager will bully you into buying services you do not need. Stay away.

WOW! I am grateful for the experience here with the staff. I felt welcome at Paradise Lakes Family Dentistry and the name speaks for itself, I felt like family here from the get go. Dr. Corpas is like having your best friend take care of you. He is conservative with her recommendations of work to be done (which is refreshing from most dentist who try to squeeze all out of their patient to upgrade to that luxury room on their summer vacation). He is gentle and lets you know exactly what he is going to do and how long it should take and what to expect. He is continuously checking your comfort level to assure as his patient is ok. Their prices are reasonable and even held a check for me once for two days until I got paid. The dentist was my #1 fear all my life and while it is not or never will be a trip to a spa package treatment, it is quite comfortable and doable now!

This clinic doesnt even deserve 1 star. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED in what this clinic has to offer as Customer Service for new clients. My appointment was at 5 pm, I arrived around 4:40 to fill out the necessary paper work. From 4:40 until 6:15 I havent seen the Dr what so ever. Upon that time the receptionist felt the need that at 6:15 was the appropriate time to notify me that the Dr was in surgery and I wont be seen, since its passed 6 PM and were technically closed. Absolutely atrocious customer service. The whole, almost 2 hours, the clinic team never knew that this Dr was having complications with his surgery? Save your time and go to another clinic.

Best place ever to take care of all of your dental problems, Melanie, Yeny, Glenda, everybody is nice, helpful and very professional and most importantly very honest no like hammocks dental or some other places where they tell you that you need a bunch of procedures and is not true, all they want is charge (scam) you or your insurance for their own benefits.

When it comes to dealing with the office manager I was completely disappointed. She is EXTREMELY rude. The 1st time I met here she was ok. Pretty nice. But yesterday I was shocked by her behavior. My daughter had an appt to extract 2 teeth. From the seconded we walked it she started with an attitude. I signed in as normal and advised her I was there for my daughters appt to extract 2 teeth. She didnt even look at the computer she looked at me and asked me what ins I had. (mind you we have been there several times before) I advised her of the name of the ins. She then rudely asked me if it was an HMO or a PPO. I told her I believed it was an HMO. (still she is not even looking at the computer to check for herself) she then tells me that the extraction is not covered by my ins. and that it would cost me over $300 to have both teeth pulled. Now as any working parent would be, I was a little upset that no one had called me to advise me of this cost. And the fact that I took off half a days work and got my daughter out of early from school just for this appt. She then proceeded to tell me that it was my fault I didnt know and that I should have checked with my ins if this was covered. Now I work in the Medical field, NEVER has a patient had to call and check their own benefits. If there is a charge or a procedure is not covered, that is always advised to the patient before the appt. I then tried to explain to her that my children are covered by 2 ins. I proceeded to give them the info of the 2nd ins and she continued with a rude attitude. Telling me that I should have brought in the paper of the orders from her orthodontist before the appt. And what I tried to explain to her but was unable to due to her continuing rudeness was that I walked in and made this appt with the girl who is usually at the front desk. I advised her at that very moment of making the appt that this extraction was ordered by the orthodontist. The girl even asked me for the paper because they needed to know which teeth to extract. So she was very aware of what the appt was for and could have notified me then that the procedure is considered elective and there was going to be a charge. Before I left I even asked the girl that made the appt if I needed to bring the paper in before the appt and she said no just bring it in the day of the appt. The lady who was next to the office manager that was trying to get the 2nd ins info asked me kindly to sit down while she checked which I did and I did quietly. The office manager stands up and rudely and loudly looks at me and starts saying 1st off. Which this is where I proceeded to get really upset and told her to please not start talking to me like that. I am not a child. She then goes to the copy machine and in Spanish starts saying how rude I am and continues to talk about me. Yes and at this time the waiting room is full of people who see this. I advised her that I could hear here from there and I wasnt the rude one. She then comes to the window area and tells me Im rude to be causing a seen in front of all these people and in front of my daughter. She is the office manager and it shows how unprofessional she is to be talking about someone while everyone could hear here. She then yells at me and tells me that they will not being seeing my daughter any more and tells us to leave the office. Was I upset, of course I was. To take time off from work and take time from my daughters school day to have to come in and deal with this and to be told it was my fault I didnt know. And what upsets me more is that my daughter had been waiting for this appt. She has been so happy to get her braces on because people make fun of her. Now I have to delay her appts with her orthodontist so that I can find another dentist that will extract her teeth so she can continue her process. All because the office manager has no professional bone in her body and I completely agree with another statement that was made in the reviews that she should not be in contact with patients.

I just had a deep cleaning a few weeks ago and had my 2 crowns put in and i just cant say enough of how nice and compassionate and careing the office staff and manager where. The docter was also amazing ! I have been to a few dentist and this office and docter where honest with me and i know becouse i know exactley what my dental insuarce covers.Will definately be back !

I am deeply disappointed with the service provided by Dental Group of South Florida.My experience was marked by blatant medical negligence and a lack of respect for patients. I was given unplanned, unremitting appointments, which unnecessarily delayed my dental treatment. Most troubling was that I was not treated by a qualified professional, but by people who were clearly in training, without adequate supervision.Furthermore, when I mentioned that I had dental insurance, they inflated the amounts due without justification, which is completely unacceptable and unethical. I felt scammed and neglected. I would not recommend this place to anyone who values ​​their health and time.

I requested emergency service for a filling, they gave me an appointment, when I arrived they confirmed it, when I entered the service I explained again the reason for my visit to the dentist who treated me, she told me that I had to consult, I called the one I think was the manager because she did not show up, then she told me that they could not do the service to me because I was not a client and that I had to undergo a general evaluation, I accepted, but she added that a doctor would decide the treatment and then they would give me another appointment, I do not understand it is not a language problem, I do not recommend the place because of that incoherent treatment, and in the end they have no professionalism
